A Family Enterprise From the Beginning

Established in 1994, at Cobbs Creek in Mathews County, Wave Rider Manufacturing has experienced a decade of continuous growth under the capable leadership of owner Richard Hundly.  The manufacturing facility was moved to Middlesex County on Rt. 3, just south of the Rappahannock River, where the Hundly family continues its tradition of fine craftsmanship and timely delivery to its customers.  Prior to establishing Wave Rider, Richard accumulated valuable experience as a production manager for several other area marine accessory manufacturers.  Along with brothers Thomas and Paul and son Richard, Jr., the staff at Wave Rider has more than 70 years combined experience in fiberglass reinforced plastics.

Accessories Built to Order for each Customer

Wave River provides services to both individual boat owners and boat dealers.  Many of the top marine dealers in coastal Virginia have relied on Wave Rider to enhance their product line.  Whether its a new hard top, tower or control box, each accessory is custom-built for each individual customer.  We won't short-change our customers by using boiler-plate designs at Wave Rider.
